Eliminate Dandruff By Preparing 5 Herbal Solutions

  • ½ cup of apple cider vinegar (125 ml).


  • Add the grated licorice root to a bowl with half a cup of apple cider vinegar.
  • Cover the product and let it marinate for 2 or 3 days.

Application mode

  • Separate the hair into several sections and apply the treatment all over the scalp.
  • Leave on for 15 minutes and then rinse.
  • Use it at least 3 times a week.

2. Neem leaves 

Although no scientific evidence has been found that can confirm its effectiveness against dandruff, anecdotal data and some hypotheses suggest that herbal solutions made with neem leaves ( Azadirachta indica ) are effective in controlling this problem thanks to their antifungal properties and anti-inflammatory.

  • 3 tablespoons of neem leaves (30 g).
  • 2 cups of water (500 ml).


  • Add the neem leaves to a pot of water and bring them to a boil over low heat.
  • Wait for them to rest at room temperature and strain the drink.

    Application mode

    • Spray the mixture all over your scalp and hair.
    • Leave on for 20 minutes and rinse.
    • Repeat the application daily, until the dandruff is eliminated.

    3. Rosemary

    • 5 tablespoons of rosemary (50 g).
    • 2 cups of water (500 ml).


    • Add the tablespoons of rosemary to two cups of water and bring them to a boil over low heat for 5 minutes.
    • Remove the infusion and let it rest until it reaches a suitable temperature for use.

    Application mode

    • Spray the rosemary infusion on your hair as a final rinse after shampooing.
    • Use it at least 3 times a week.

    4. Burdock

    Burdock tea (Arctium lappa ) is another of the herbal solutions that is proposed against dandruff. It helps to stimulate circulation in the scalp and, if that were not enough, it reduces the excessive production of fat and accumulated dead cells.     • 2 tablespoons of dried burdock root (20 g).
    • 1 cup of water (250 ml).


    • Add the burdock root to a pot of water and bring it to a boil over low heat for 15 minutes.
    • When you have the drink, let it rest and strain it.

    Application mode

    5. Laurel

    • 2 cups of water (500 ml).
